History

  • 2001 WTO was founded as an international forwarder offering mainly container transport to/from Bulgaria via Varna and Thessaloniki port
  • 2004 WTO starts offering inland transport within Europe .
  • 2007 WTO established it office in Varna to enhance its services via this port
  • 2007 WTO established its air-cargo office in Sofia airport complex
  • 2008 WTO started LCL service from Far East to Bulgaria via Varna port
  • 2008 WTO obtained a contract with Bulgarian-Greek Railways to serve as an operator for block train between Thessaloniki and Sofia.
  • 2008 WTO opened its office in Plovdiv, second biggest commercial city in Bulgaria, to better serve its customers in South Bulgaria region
  • 2009 WTO was awarded by the International Fair in Plovdiv with Gold Medal and Certificate of excellence for its nationwide LCL service. 
  • 2009 WTO opened its office in Belgrade, Serbia. It is the first office opened outside Bulgaria as a part of its strategy to expand to West Balkans region
  • 2009 WTO Serbia becomes a member of WCA Family of Logistic Networks
  • Summer 2010 WTO  started with its own consolidations in port of Koper and Rijeka able to serve customers across  Central and Eastern Europe
